ABOUT OUR DIRECTOR

Our Focus
The International Dreamcenter of Lansing serves as one of Michigan's most innovative community development and enrichment organizations.
Our combination of job skills training, private enterprise operation and community programs allows thousands of adult and juvenile Lansing residents to grow into their full God-given potential.
At the Dreamcenter, every individual is a child and friend of God worthy of absolute respect, love, and investment. While Dreamworks and Dreamcones & Deli provide job skills, the Dreamcenter offers Lansing a space for events, classes, worship, and recreation.
What We're all about at the Lansing Dreamcenter
History of the Dreamcenter
Although formally opening in August 2013, the vision for the International Dreamcenter of Lansing began almost a decade ago with its Director, Dr. LaClaire Bouknight.
In 2003, Dr. Bouknight started Eaglevisions Ministries, drawing its name inspiration from Isaiah 40:31. Eaglevisions provided spiritual counseling, professional skills and job interview training, as well as professional attire for interviews and subsequent employmen to local women with various social challenges.
After the work of Eaglevisions Ministries expanded to serve men and children (often through relations to the women redeemed and restored through the organization), Dr. Bouknight and her staff decided it was time to scale up their operations and open a Dreamcenter in Lansing.
Two month's after its grand opening, the International Dreamcenter of Lansing, a DBA of Eaglevision, is now comprised of the Dreamcenter community facility and of two private enterprises, Lansing Dreamworks and Lansing Dreamcones & Deli.
